Nadine Vinzens

Nadine Vinzens (born September 5, 1983 in Chur , Canton of Graubünden ) is a Swiss model and actress . She was Miss Switzerland in 2002.

Education and career

From 1990 to 1997 Vinzens attended primary school , until 2000 the secondary school in Trimmis . Then she completed an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk .

Between 1996 and 1998, Vinzens made stage experience in the dance group Very Necessary and had, among other things, theater appearances in Kleist's play Penthesilea and in the tragedy Elektra von Sophocles . From 2000 to 2002 she was a young Swiss model.

In 2002 Vinzens won the Miss Switzerland title. After another two years as a catwalk model in Germany, Switzerland and South Africa, Vinzens tried in 2004 to get into the US show business. Since then she has lived in Los Angeles . There she was booked for advertising and appeared in CSI: NY , 11th hour and Rules of Engagement . Today she lives in Miami .

In the Swiss production Mary & Johnny , the adaptation of the dramatic classic Kasimir und Karoline von Ödön von Horváth , she played the female lead and title role "Mary". The film opened in Swiss cinemas in July 2012.

From 2005 to 2008 Vinzens was married to the American punk musician Neshawn Hubbard .
