Newsnet
Newsnet (formerly Newsnetz ) is a news network from Tamedia AG and operates the joint online news platform for the daily newspapers Basler Zeitung , Berner Zeitung , Der Bund and Tages-Anzeiger .
The editorial office is located in Zurich and processes content on national topics. She is also responsible for blogs and podcasts as well as comment functions. The regional editorial offices in Basel, Bern and Zurich deal with regional topics from politics, business, sport and society.
As part of the Zurich Media division, Newsnet has been responsible for the Tages-Anzeiger Online platforms and the Basler Zeitung's online portal since 2008 ; the Espace Media division also connects the Berner Zeitung and Der Bund online portals to Newsnet.
From the beginning of 2012, Newsnet will merge with the portals of the daily newspapers 24 heures , Tribune de Genève and Le Matin from Edipresse Suisse . In October 2011 the name was changed from Newsnetz to Newsnet . The name change is the result of the collaboration with the French-speaking partners. The completely English name is understood in German as well as in French-speaking countries.
