Miss Switzerland
Miss Switzerland ( French Miss Suisse , Italian Miss Svizzera , Romansh Miss Svizra ) is an annual beauty contest for women in Switzerland .
The last Miss Switzerland for the time being was Jastina Doreen Riederer . After a two-year hiatus, she was elected to succeed Lauriane Sallin on March 10, 2018 at Trafo Baden , but due to differences with the organizer of the election, the title was revoked in January 2019.

Miss Switzerland before 1976
Swiss participants in Miss Europe were Annie Haussel in 1929, Jacqueline Reyboubet in 1937 and Maita Brun in 1938. In 1935 Nelly Ulrich from Bern took part in the Miss Universe election.

Miss Switzerland since 1976
The competition has been organized by the "Miss Switzerland Organization" since 1976. Current owners are Iwan Meyer and Andrea Meyer. You took over the company in 2017 from Guido Fluri , who in turn bought it from the film producer Christoph Locher in August 2012.
