Mister Switzerland
Mister Switzerland ( French Mister Suisse, Italian Mister Svizzera, Rhaeto-Romanic Mister Svizra ) was a beauty contest for men in Switzerland , which has been held since 1994 by the Mister Switzerland organization based in St. Gallen . In May 2006 the Mister Switzerland organization was taken over by the Marquard Event Promotion AG of the publisher Jürg Marquard .
history
The candidates must be Swiss citizens, at least 20 years old, at least 178 cm tall and have a good reputation . The final was broadcast on Swiss television , the TSR (until 2010) and the RSI until 2011 and the candidates were evaluated by a jury and the television audience. In 2012, the last election carried out so far was broadcast by 3+ . In 2013 the election was canceled by the board of directors of Marquard Event Promotion because not enough sponsors could be found to hold the competition. Mister Switzerland's 2012 year of office ended on August 26, 2013. There were no sponsors for 2014 either and the election was canceled. There has been no election since then.
