Miss Kosovo
Miss Kosovo is a beauty pageant for unmarried women in Kosovo . Domestically it is called Miss Kosova and has been taking place since 1994. However, it was not carried out in 2004 and 2005.
The winners have already participated successfully twice in the Miss Albania election: Venera Mustafa won both titles in 1999. Agnesa Vuthaj was Miss Kosovo in 2003 and Miss Albania in 2004. As such, she took part in Miss World in 2004 and Miss Universe in 2005 .
Even before the declaration of independence on February 17, 2008, female candidates from Kosovo took part in Miss Earth : 2002 Mirjeta Zeka and 2003 Teuta Hoxha.
