Marion Lüttge , née Gräfe (born November 25, 1941 in Leipzig ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the GDR - was one of the best javelin throwers in the 1960s .

Marion Lüttge was first a chemical technician, but then trained to become a sports teacher. In 1963 she married the hammer thrower Friedrich Lüttge, the brother of the shot putter Johanna Lüttge .

She was GDR champion in javelin throwing in 1962, 1963 and 1966. Marion Lüttge set three GDR records in the javelin throw, the last on September 2, 1966 with her personal best of 59.70 m in qualifying at the European Championships in Budapest .

She also took part in European Athletics Championships three times :

  • 1962 : 10th place with 46.28 m
  • 1966 : 1st place with 58.74 m
  • 1969 : 7th place with 53.76 m
