Daniela Jaworska

Daniela Jaworska , b. Tarkowska (born January 4, 1946 in Wyborów in the Łódź Voivodeship ) is a former Polish athlete . With a height of 1.64 m, her competition weight was 64 kg.

Daniela Tarkowska was seventh in the javelin throw at the European Championships in Budapest in 1966 with 49.70 meters .

After their marriage, Daniela Jaworska was fifth at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City with 56.06 meters. The following year she finished 6th with 55.16 meters at the European Championships in Athens in 1969 .

On August 13, 1971, she won the European Championships in Helsinki with 61.00 meters gold in front of the two Germans Ameli Koloska (West) and Ruth Fuchs (East). At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, Daniela Jaworska narrowly missed the final with 52.40 meters in 14th place. At the European Championships in Rome in 1974 , she was eleventh again with 54.02 meters.

Between 1964 and 1976 she won ten Polish championship titles. Her best distance was 62.30 meters.
