Liselotte Ebnet , also Ammann-Ebnet (born February 11, 1932 ; † September 25, 2009 in Munich ) was a German operetta and musical singer with a soprano and mezzo- soprano voice , as well as an actress and dubbing actress.

Live and act

After completing her singing and acting training, she played at various smaller German (music) stages. In 1956 Ebnet became a permanent member of the ensemble at the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz . There she quickly became a favorite with the public. She was a member of the theater until 1980. She played alongside Sári Barabás , Elisabeth Biebl , Dorothea Chryst , Harry Friedauer , Ferry Gruber , Rosl Schwaiger and others. a. m.

The artist was a guest at the Donaueschinger Musiktage in 1955 and sang on October 22, 1956 in Stuttgart at the world premiere of Le petit Savoyard by Wilhelm Killmayer . In 1966 she took part in the Wiener Festwochen. She sang Rafael in the operetta Princess von Traperunt by Jacques Offenbach and Oerstus in The beautiful Helena . In the Theater an der Wien and at the Theater am Gärtnerplatz embodied Ebnet Anna in the musical The King and I . In addition to Gretel Hartung and Hella Puhlmann , she played in the Gärtnerplatztheater in the first performance (February 6, 1962) of the opera Lysistrate based on Aristophanes , text and music by Paul Kont . The controversial opera only saw two performances. Ebnet received extremely positive reviews in 1971 for the role of Prince Orlofsky in the operetta Die Fledermaus at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.

The artist, who was appointed chamber actress, took part in several films and was still active as a voice actress. For example, she dubbed Yvonne Sanson in the film Hot Coast (1958).

Liselotte Ebnet was the third wife of the actor Lukas Ammann . The couple, who married in 1959, had a son who died at the age of six after falling from a balcony.
