Hermann Lenschau

Hermann Lenschau (born November 20, 1911 in Hamburg , † August 14, 1977 there ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Since 1947 he was engaged at the Hamburger Kammerspiele , at the same time he played at the Comedy Basel . 1954 played Henderson in Louis Verneuil's state affairs at Hamburg's Thalia Theater , the soldiers in Paul Willem's Der Bärenhäuter and Tony Wendice in Frederick Knott's On Call Murder . At the Comedy Basel in 1955 he was seen as Mackie Messer in the Threepenny Opera .

He worked u. a. in Edgar Wallace films , as a customs officer (superior of customs inspector Kressin ) in the crime scene series of the ARD and in some episodes Derrick as superior of the chief inspector.

Lenschau also worked extensively as a radio play speaker. In 1964, for example, he played the lead role in the six-part detective radio play Glocken des Todes (director: Rolf von Goth ). His partners included Alwin Joachim Meyer , Helmut Peine , Fritz Rasp and Kurt Lieck . He died at the age of 65 as a result of a severe asthma attack.
