Richard Rudiger

Richard Rüdiger (born November 8, 1937 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

In the second half of the 1950s, Rüdiger received an acting training from Arnulf Schröder and Peter Riekmann before starting his artistic career at the Munich Volkstheater . Not yet 20 years old, Rüdiger began his career in front of the camera. Rüdiger mostly received supporting roles in less significant films and was seen almost simultaneously, since 1958, in numerous television productions, often as a guest in individual series episodes. In 1970 he got another supporting role, this time alongside Steve McQueen in a large-scale Hollywood production, the Le Mans racing driver's strip . Rüdiger withdrew from television work as early as the mid-1970s. At that time (1974) the Munich-based actor married Gerlinde Locker , an Austrian colleague .
