Gerlinde Locker
Gerlinde Locker (born April 28, 1938 in Linz ) is an Austrian stage, film and television actress .
Career
After attending grammar school and arts and crafts school, Gerlinde Locker trained as a hand weaver . During this time she also attended drama school at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz for four years .
At the age of 18 she passed the acting examination at the Salzburg Mozarteum and received her first engagement at the Linz State Theater a year later in 1957 . Even during her later film career, she remained loyal to the stage. From 1962 she played at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna , at the Renaissance Theater in Berlin, at the Hamburg Thalia Theater and at comedy venues in Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin. In 1968 and 1969 she made guest appearances at the Salzburg Festival alongside OW Fischer a . a. in Hugo von Hofmannsthal's comedy The Difficult .
In the year of her theatrical debut in 1957, Gerlinde Locker also made her first film appearance in the home film Der Schandfleck , whereupon she received a five-year contract from the Vienna production company Schönbrunnfilm. Up to 30 other feature films of all genres followed, including The Pastor of St. Michael , The Maiden War , Sebastian Kneipp - A Great Life and Heintje - Once the sun will shine again . In the 1960s, Locker also appeared in TV operetta productions , such as Die Fledermaus , Die Christel von der Post , Der Vogelhändler and Das Land des Smiles .
In 1964, Locker took part in the film adaptation of Chekhov's story Das Duell by Hans Schweikart in the role of the widow Nadezhda Fyodorovna. A Florentine hat , a film adaptation by Kurt Wilhelm based on Eugène Marin Labiche 's stage comedy of the same name, was on her shooting schedule in 1967.
After appearing on television in a few crime series, she did not return to the screen until the late 1990s with appearances in television games. She was seen in the ARD family saga Geld.Macht.Liebe in the role of Liselotte von Rheinberg and shot the movie Rubinrot , directed by Felix Fuchssteiner .

The connection with the director Kurt Wilhelm comes from a son born in 1963, the journalist Anatol Locker . She has been married to the actor Richard Rüdiger since 1974 . She lives in Munich .
