action
Sepp, the house servant at the "Dreistern" country guesthouse in Seebrugg, Tyrol, is a bad finger, as he helps horny guests with the window and holds the ladder. One evening two of the guests landed in the bedchamber of the old "three-star" boss Hermine Lechner and her daughter Veronika. In order to rule out such inconvenience once and for all in the future, the old woman from Lechner decided the following morning to only accept female guests from now on. Veronika's three marriageable daughters Hannelore, Gertraud and Marianne are anything but enthusiastic about this. “My decision is final. No entry for men! ”Decrees the resolute hotel owner. It goes without saying that the three young Lechner granddaughters are not ready to accept this without further ado, even if the old Lechner woman is the first to have a large, gold sign with the words “Only for female hotel guests” attached to the hotel entrance.
Soon there was discord not only within the Lechner family's Fünfmäderlhaus, but also in the village itself and the anti-male decision met with head shaking and even anger among the mayor Schwammerl. Little by little, the granddaughters Hannelore, Gertraud and Marianne try to overturn the male ban. However, two of the granddaughters give up and leave the "three star", while the brunette Marianne stays and Grandma tries to change her mind. Soon a happy dance between men and women, accompanied by numerous vocal interludes, begins, in which mother Veronika is coupled with the boss of the rival company "Hotel Seerose", while Hannelore grabs the pop singer Charly Rassel, Gertraud sends her heart to the veterinarian Dr. Schermann loses and Marianne meets with the music publisher Karl-Heinz Busch. Finally, court councilor Hermione can be appeased for the happy ending, and everything turns out for the better.

Reviews
"Ten hits, more bad than right, packed into a poor film plot about a man-hostile hotel manager and young lovers."
Paimann's film lists summed up: "At least a somewhat more carefully crafted fable than usual, prepared in a leveling mix of young and established actors ... (a) family audience to some extent."
