Sepp Rothauer
Josef "Sepp" Rothauer (born March 15, 1916 in Bad Ischl ; † June 12, 1975 there ) was an Austrian architect and film architect .
Live and act
Rothauer studied architecture in Vienna and initially worked as an architect. Before the end of the war he began working for film. In the 1950s and 1960s he worked primarily with the Austrian director Franz Antel . Gradually he withdrew from the film world around 1970 and concentrated on his profession as an architect. As such, he mainly took on construction contracts for private villas. His son Sepp Rothauer junior is an architect and former jazz musician.
