Edith Teichmann (born March 22, 1921 in Leipzig ; † October 1, 2018 , married name: Edith Zarkovic ) was a German actress as well as radio play and voice actor .

Life

She completed an acting and dance training in Dresden and has appeared on numerous theater stages. In film and television she worked in 1961 in the Edgar Wallace film The Green Archer and in 1980 in the television comedy Mein Gott, Willi! With.

From 1950 to 1953 Edith Teichmann dubbed the films Crimes without Guilt , Dick and Doof inherit an island and lovable women? . In 1965 she took on a role as voice actress for the film The seducer lets greet you beautifully . In the children's radio play series Bibi Blocksberg she was the voice of Aunt Amanda (episodes 1-40, from 1980).

In 1987 she was seen as a work at the first Berliner Jedermann Festival .

Since 1948 she has also been employed as a radio play speaker for various German broadcasters. For example, in 1951 she spoke the female lead in The Brief Happy Life of Francis Macomber by Ernest Hemingway .

Her daughter Angelika, born in 1948, comes from a relationship with the actor Heinz Drache . She was married to the Yugoslav actor and singer Čedo Žarković, who died in 1995.
