Your employer seems to be related, having an uncanny power over you. Soon Jane can no longer distinguish between reality and imagination, which are degenerating more and more into delusions. In order to escape this tormenting power, the young woman seeks more and more protection in love for George. A dramatic event, at the center of which is a terrible bloody act, perpetrated on her lover, causes a shock and at the same time explains the anguish of Jane's soul.

Reviews

The following can be read in Films 1965–70: “The network of reality and imagination remains confused until the end and slips into embarrassing sexual behavior, especially in the environment, which is not covered by the topic. - We advise against it. "

In the lexicon of international films it says: “Confused psychodrama with a criminalistic influence and speculative sex fantasies.” Even the Protestant film observer did not come to a better assessment: “This color film, shot with great ambition and at considerable expense, presented a color film about a pretty young bookseller and her lively ones Trieb turns out - instead of the German 'rocket' hoped for by the companies involved, which would land on the world market - as a clearly speculative production with a lot of boring sex in all kinds and varieties and a bit of crime. To be rejected. "
