Katrin Schaake

Katrin Schaake (born November 13, 1931 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

Schaake began her career in 1959 with a role in From the diary of a gynecologist with Rudolf Prack in the lead role. Two years later she shot our house in Cameroon with Götz George and Johanna von Koczian . After a few television appearances in Stahlnetz and Hafenpolizei , she had a supporting role in the Oscar- winning film What's New, Pussy? with Peter Sellers , Romy Schneider , Capucine and Woody Allen . Another international production followed with Flowers, Gauner and the Night of Nice with Jean Gabin and Curd Jürgens in the leading roles.

After participating in the street sweeper Babeck (1968), she concentrated on the New German Film . It was featured in ten works by Rainer Werner Fassbinder between 1969 and 1973 , including in Love is colder than death , The bitter tears of Petra von Kant and Welt am Draht . During this time she was married to the Fassbinder star Ulli Lommel . From 1974, Schaake was Marius Müller-Westernhagen's partner for twelve years .

Schaake still acted in several television and cinema films until the end of the 1970s, since then she has appeared more or less regularly as a guest actress in German series, such as Tatort , Peter Strohm , Schwarz Rot Gold or Die Schwarzwaldklinik . She has not been known to have performed since 2001. Her theater stations included the Detmold State Theater (from 1960).

Schaake also worked as a voice actress for almost twenty years. Under the pseudonym Katrin Miclette , she dubbed numerous series characters, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, among others in Columbo , The Equalizer , The Six Million Dollar Man or An Angel on Earth . She has voiced her voice in several films, including Marisa Berenson , Katharine Hepburn and Catherine Schell .
