content

Marc Weller was once a racing car driver and now earns his living by bringing back the luxury cars that have not been paid for by buyers to car dealers. But this time Marc has the bad luck to mistake the Ferrari of a financially weak buyer for the car of the gangster Tsintatse and to wreck his car in a chase. Tsintatse gives Marc a choice: Either he wins an illegal car race that leads across Germany to replace the Ferrari with the prize money for the victory, or he faces health-endangering consequences. Unexpectedly, Marc then stands in front of his eight-year-old daughter Tina for her weekend visit, which he reluctantly has to take with him to the race. His situation does not improve after the young policewoman Andrea stops him for an inspection and he has to kidnap her without further ado to avoid going to jail.

The organizer Berger also takes part in the race to keep the money in the house, with a car that is equipped with an AI computer ; however, its programming gradually becomes independent and the computer begins to fall in love with its owner. The moneyless Susi also takes part with her two children and a hearse that contains the coffin of her deceased husband, who originally wanted to take part in the race. There are also Tsintatses idiotic henchmen named Jesus and Andi, who are supposed to monitor Marc, but soon develop a fatal inclination for sipping gasoline; the homosexual Boris, who gets on the nerves of his constantly changing passengers with his chatter; and the imperious police chief von Moltke, who has a very personal chicken to pluck with illegal racing drivers.

Reviews

"Undemanding chaos comedy cast with German comedy stars, which offers the genre's well-known recipes with shrill types and lots of gossip."
