Mundstuhl is a comedy duo from Frankfurt am Main , consisting of the comedians Lars Niedereichholz (* 1968) and Ande Werner (* 1969). The two were best known through the Kanak Sprak- speaking characters Dragan and Alder .
Career
From September 1997 to mid-1998, the duo presented a weekly program in the afternoon program of the radio station Radio X in Frankfurt.
For the 2006 World Cup , Mundstuhl released the single Germans - a cover version with text in Denglish of Bob Marley's reggae number Jammin ' .
Mundstuhl often appears in chart shows on television and has also made guest appearances at Bernd das Brot . Furthermore, both participated frequently in the various TV-total-sports events of Stefan Raab and his game show Beat the Star part. You were also occasionally on the ProSieben improvisation show, thank God ... that you are there! to see. In the ProSieben show Stars on Ice , Ande Werner formed a couple with the four-time German figure skating champion Annette Dytrt until he left on November 15, 2006 .
In 2002, Mundstuhl took part in the German preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest . The meat title took eleventh place out of 15 participants.
In 2007, Mundstuhl had a weekly, 30-minute broadcast of the same name on Comedy Central Germany .
According to the duo, they came up with a name for Mundstuhl after a night of drinking when Lars Niedereichholz said: “You sit there the next morning and have this taste in your mouth, bad. It smells so bad ... "and Ande Werner continued:" ... and so it came to the thought, 'My God, now I have a chair in my mouth.' "
