Annette Dytrt ( Czech Annette Dytrtová ; born September 7, 1983 in Landshut ) is a former German figure skater of Czech origin. She was Czech champion and multiple German champion in her sport.

Life

Annette Dytrt started ice skating in Landshut at the age of two, emulating her sister Veronika , who is three years older than her. She initially started for EV Augsburg and then moved to Munich EV, where she was trained by Karin Gaiser . In 1998 she went with her sister to the Czech Republic , the country of birth of her parents. They did this out of the belief that otherwise they would always be in the shadow of Tanja Szewczenko .

The Dytrt sisters started for the SKK Karwin and in 1999, under coach Vlasta Kopřivová , immediately won a double victory (Annette before Veronika) in the national championships. The then 15-year-old Annette was still too young to start at international championships in the adult sector. Veronika Dytrt represented the Czech Republic at the European and World Championships in 1999, while Annette competed at the Junior World Championships. Annette Dytrt returned to Germany a year later, plagued by homesickness , while Veronika Dytrt also competed in the Czech championships from 2000 to 2002.

In Munich, Annette Dytrt initially trained with Steffi Ruttkies (until 2001). From 2003 she became German champion four times in a row with the coaching team Alexander Wedenin / Shanetta Folle for her old club Münchener EV. On New Year's Eve 2005, Annette Dytrt separated from trainer Folle, moved to Erfurt , lived temporarily in a shared apartment with Stefan Lindemann and a friend and trained with Ilona Schindler . With tenth place at the European Championships in Lyon in 2006 , however, she could not qualify for the Winter Olympics in Turin .

After a trial session in February 2006 and the 2006 World Championships in Calgary , Annette Dytrt switched to pair skating with Norman Jeschke . You trained with Bruno Marcotte in Vancouver , Canada that summer . However, shortly before the season opener at the Nebelhorn Trophy , Dytrt / Jeschke announced their retirement from amateur sport on September 24, 2006 without having contested a single competition. The officially named occasion was a threat to competition from the ISU if the couple should appear in a TV ice show on ProSieben (for which Dytrt / Jeschke had already signed a contract) or other professional TV shows. At the ProSieben show Stars auf Eis , Annette Dytrt formed a couple with the Mundstuhl comedian Ande Werner until she left the company on November 15, 2006 .

In December 2006 Annette Dytrt decided to continue her individual running career and moved to Karel Fajfr in Oberstdorf . She made her comeback to competitions at the Nebelhorn Trophy 2007. At the 2008 World Championships, she achieved her best result with 12th place. From May 2008 she trained with Michael Huth , with whom she achieved her fifth national championship title in December 2008. Internationally, she achieved seventh place as the best EM placement in 2009 (the first single-digit placement of a German single runner in continental championships after eleven years). In qualifying for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , Dytrt failed to meet the required norm of 128 points in two international competitions, which it only exceeded once.

In the 2010/11 season Annette Dytrt trained again with Karel Fajfr in Oberstdorf, but did not take part in any competitions due to injury. In May 2011 she first announced a change of coach to Ingo Steuer in Chemnitz and shortly afterwards, after a death in her family, announced the end of her career.

Annette Dytrt was a member of the Bundeswehr Sports Promotion Group from 2004 to 2011 - with a one-year break in 2007/08 (first in Neubiberg , then Sonthofen ). Her last rank was corporal .

On December 22nd, 2012, Annette Dytrt was officially bid farewell to the German Ice Skating Union as part of the exhibition of the German Championships 2013 in Hamburg. From 2014 to 2016 she took part as a star guest in the Holiday-on-Ice production Passion . From 2016, she and her couple skating partner Yannik Bonheur were committed to the Holiday-on-Ice production “Time” for two years.

In the February 2019 issue of Playboy , revealing pictures of Annette Dytrt appeared.

In 2019 she took part in Dancing on Ice with John Michael Kelly and reached second place with him.
