Inge Paul (born September 19, 1946 in Hamburg ) is a former German figure skater and two-time German champion. She represented the SC Rießersee from Garmisch-Partenkirchen .
Career
Born in Hamburg , Paul and her parents moved to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1959 , where they trained at SC Rießersee . She won her first national title at the German Championships in 1962. In the same year she started at the European Figure Skating Championships in 1962 in Geneva , where she reached 18th place. A year later at the World Figure Skating Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1963 , she took a good seventh place. In the same year she was second at the German championships.
At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 , Paul was able to achieve 14th place in a single run. In the same year she won her second German championship title. At the World Figure Skating Championships in 1964 , as in the Olympics, she was 14th in the women's individual run.
