Lydia Veicht
Lydia Veicht (* 1922 in Munich; † September 18, 2007 there ) was a German figure skater .
Between 1937 and 1941 she was German champion five times in a row. At the European Championships in St. Moritz in 1938 , she finished fifth as well as at the World Championships of the same year in Berlin. At the World Championships in Prague in 1938 , she was able to improve to fourth place. She was registered for the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , but did not start.
In 1947 she founded the Munich ice revue with which she toured the country for a few years. She later took part in ice revues organized by the German Olympic champion couple Maxi and Ernst Baier . Lydia Veicht played supporting roles in the films Schwarzwaldmädel (1950) and The Colorful Dream (1952).
