Kristin Wieczorek (today Kristin Wieczorek-Pfeiffer ; born May 2, 1986 in Erfurt ) is a former German figure skater who started in a single run .
Kristin Wieczorek started figure skating in Erfurt at the age of five. There she trained with Ilona Schindler, among others . She later started for the USG Chemnitz and was trained there for a while by Anett Pötzsch . Since summer 2006 she trained with Michael Huth . Her greatest success was winning the German championship in 2007. With this victory she qualified for the European championship in Warsaw . There Wieczorek achieved only a mediocre placement with 19th place, but was just ahead of her teammate Christiane Berger , so that she could also start at the World Cup in Tokyo . With rank 29 in the short program, she did not manage to qualify for the freestyle finals.
Kristin Wieczorek ended her figure skating career in 2009 and now works as a physiotherapist . She looks after the SV Stahl Thale football club as a physiotherapist. She is also part of the coaching staff of her brother, the single runner Denis Wieczorek .
