Christiane Berger (born April 3, 1987 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German figure skater .

biography

Christiane Berger started figure skating at the age of six at the Mannheim ERC . She trained with national trainer Peter Sczypa until 2004 , after which she switched to Karin Stephan . Her greatest successes were the national junior title in 2000 and the runner-up in 2006 and 2007 in the national championships . She took part in the Junior World Championships three times . Her best result was 14th place in 2001 in Sofia. In 2007 she was allowed to take part as runner-up with Kristin Wieczorek at the European Championships in Warsaw and took 20th place behind her teammate (freestyle music Forrest Gump ). Since autumn 2006 Berger has been studying dentistry in Frankfurt am Main . In preparation for the 2007-08 season, she broke an ankle and ended her career.
