Astrid Hochstetter

Astrid Hochstetter (born August 4, 1979 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a former German figure skater .

Life

Hochstetter started for the TUS Stuttgart (until 1996) and the ERC Westphalia Dortmund . Her trainers were Karel Fajfr , Alexander König , Peter Meyer and finally Peter Jonas . Her greatest success was winning the German championship in 1996, in which she surprisingly defeated her training partner Tanja Szewczenko . In order to prevent injuries, she ended her amateur career in 1999 because she had lost safety in the jumps.
