Ralf Wengenmayr

Ralf Wengenmayr (born April 7, 1965 in Augsburg ) is a German film composer .

Life

Ralf Wengenmayr was born in Augsburg in 1965. From 1981 he studied piano and composition at the University of Augsburg . From 1984 to 1994 he worked as a solo and bar pianist all over Germany. Wengenmayr has been writing and editing music for film and advertising since 1989. Among other things, he wrote the music for Michael “Bully” Herbig's Der Schuh des Manitu and the Augsburger Puppenkiste . He was nominated for the German Film Prize in 2010 for his work on Herbig's children's film Wickie und die stark Männer .
