reception

The film reached number one in the cinema charts in Germany in its first week and was largely received positively by the critics. The fact that the film is based on proven and well-known themes and characters was interpreted with praise on the one hand and critically on the other. Some of the criticism saw this as the strength of the film, especially for regular fans of the "Bullyparade", another part interpreted this as a weakness and considered the film to be superficial. In part, the character of the episode was criticized as a "cobbled together pile of overly long individual sketches". However, it outweighed the assessment that the film met the expectations of a joke-comedy ("Everyone bravely fools what it takes").
