Laura Berlin (born January 1, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German actress and model .

life and career

At the age of 15, Laura Berlin was discovered by a modeling agency and worked as a model during her school education. Two years later she changed the agency and from then on ran for VIVA Models at fashion shows for Boss , Balenciaga , Michalsky and Fornarina, among others . She now works for IMG Models and is a regular guest in Paris and Milan . At the age of seventeen she appeared on the cover of the Italian edition of Elle . Further titles as well as numerous campaigns and editorials in respected fashion magazines followed. Since graduating from school in 2009, she has been working full-time as a model and is under contract with important model agencies around the world.

After Berlin had gained first acting experience in school theater and private acting coaching, director Thomas Freundner gave the nineteen-year-old high school graduate the title role in his ARD fairy tale film Snow White in 2009 . This was the first time she appeared as an actress on television and acted alongside established actors such as Sonja Kirchberger , Jaecki Schwarz , Martin Brambach and Jörg Schüttauf . Further film projects resulted from the collaboration with an acting agency. She has also worked as a commercial actress and has appeared in several commercials for well-known brands as well as a music video for Oomph! to see. In the film adaptations of the novels Rubinrot (2013), Saphirblau (2014) and Smaragdgrün (2016) from the book series Love goes through all times by Kerstin Gier , she took on the role of Charlotte Montrose . In the series Binny and the Ghost (2016), she took a guest role as a confused ghost girl. From December 2016 to July 2017 she was on YouTube as Jenny Hülshoff in the web series  Alles Liebe, Annette  .

Since 2018 Berlin plays in the ZDF television series Hamburg Dockland from the sequence 310 (13th season), the assistant doctor emergency room Dr. Eva Grünberg. In German cinemas at the beginning of 2019 she was seen in the coming-of-age drama Immenhof - The Adventure of a Summer directed by Sharon von Wietersheim as 23-year-old Charly in one of the three leading female roles. In the same year she took on the lead role as the young cook Astrid at the ZDF Herzkino in one of the Inga Lindström films .

She lives in Berlin.
