IMG Models
IMG Models is a model agency based in Paris with branches in New York , London , Milan and Hong Kong . IMG Models is a subsidiary of the International Management Group, which is primarily active in the marketing of sports rights .
Models like Gigi Hadid , Kate Moss , Heidi Klum , Gisele Bündchen , Maye Musk and a few actresses like Drew Barrymore are under contract there. The men's department was sold in 2007 to the (now defunct) company Public Image Worldwide. In October 2012, IMG Models opened a new men's division in New York.
In Germany, the agency has achieved a certain level of awareness through the show Germany's Next Topmodel , as the winners of the first three seasons Lena Gercke , Barbara Meier and Jennifer Hof were signed as a prize at IMG Models. None of them are now represented by the agency. Third placed in the second season, Hana Nitsche , as well as Anna Vanessa Hegelmaier , who voluntarily retired early in the third season , were subsequently signed by IMG. The US-American Yoanna House , winner of the second season of America's Next Top Model , was also under contract with IMG. Since the beginning of the fourth season of Germany's Next Topmodel, winning the title no longer entails a contract with the agency for the participants.
