The International Management Group ( IMG ) is a Cleveland , Ohio- based corporation founded by Mark McCormack that provides legal advice and sports marketing .
The US lawyer initially advised golf professional Arnold Palmer , and later numerous other athletes worldwide. IMG was able to increase the income of top athletes through advertising income .
In 2005 IMG was represented in 30 countries with 2,200 employees, in Germany a. a. in Munich , Berlin and Mannheim . The German IMG GmbH has its headquarters in Munich, the managing director is Christian Salomon. The Swiss subsidiary IMG Schweiz AG is based in Zurich. She is socially committed in the form of a charity partnership with World Vision Switzerland .
The IMG Group is divided into the Sports, Entertainment and Media divisions. She not only represents athletes as an agent , but also speakers, writers and photo models . In addition, IMG acts as an organizer and initiates TV productions.
IMG Digital Media
IMG Digital Media is a 100% subsidiary of the IMG marketing agency based in Cologne. She takes care of all media-related projects worldwide and represents the television marketing and distribution rights of worldwide sporting and cultural organizations.
IMG Digital Media delivers TV programs from events such as the America's Cup , Wimbledon Championships , English Premier League , British Open or the Rugby World Cup to the award of the Nobel Peace Prize. TV programs are distributed in over 200 countries. Annually, more than 9,000 hours of television program are produced and distributed by, including over 500 hours for in-flight programs for more than 40 airlines.
From the production of sports programs, IMG Digital Media has developed into the world's largest independent producer and distributor of live sports broadcasts, a specialist in the field of archives and interactive media. IMG Consulting advises international companies on their global sponsorship activities.
