Lena Johanna Gercke (born February 29, 1988 in Marburg ) is a German model and television presenter . She won the first season of Germany's Next Topmodel in 2006 and hosted the first four seasons of Austria's Next Topmodel from 2009 to 2012 .

In August 2004 Gercke was discovered at a regional casting for a fast food chain and then booked for photo shoots and the catwalk. At the beginning of 2006, she took part in the first season of the casting show Germany’s Next Top Model , broadcast by the television station ProSieben . On March 29, 2006, she was named the winner of the competition, received a contract with the modeling agency IMG Models and appeared on the cover of the German edition of Cosmopolitan .

Gercke made advertisements for Oui Set , Windows Live and Katjes , among others . It graced various covers of German and international magazines. At the beginning of 2009 it ran for the third time for various designers at Berlin Fashion Week . Your contract with IMG Models ended in 2010. The contract with ONEeins was terminated in 2012. From 2009 to 2012 she moderated Austria's Next Top Model at Puls 4 ; on April 11, 2013 the ProSieben magazine red! . In 2013 and 2014 she sat on the jury of the program Das Supertalent alongside Dieter Bohlen , Bruce Darnell and Guido Maria Kretschmer .

In August 2015 she hosted the Prankenstein show at ProSieben and showed pranks filmed with a hidden camera . Since autumn 2015 she has hosted the casting show The Voice of Germany together with Thore Schölermann . In November 2016 she hosted the dance show Deutschland tanzt . In May 2017, she competed on the ProSieben game show Schlag die Star against Lena Meyer-Landrut , to which she lost after six hours and 15 game rounds. Also in May 2017 she received the About You Award in the Fashion category. 2017 she was in the movie The Smurfs - The lost village a role as a voice of the Smurf flower .

Since February 2018 she has been part of the jury of experts in the inventor show Das Ding des Jahres on ProSieben . She has had her own fashion brand LeGer by Lena Gercke at About You since 2019 . In March 2020, Gercke was on the cover of business magazine Forbes .

Private

Gercke grew up in Cloppenburg and passed the Abitur in the year after participating in Germany's Next Top Model at the Liebfrauenschule Cloppenburg . Until the separation in December 2009 she lived with Jay Khan in Berlin. From 2011 to 2015 Gercke was with the soccer player Sami Khedira , with whom she lived mostly near Madrid . From summer 2015 to May 2018 she was in a relationship with Kilian Müller-Wohlfahrt. Her relationship with Dustin Schöne, director and owner of a production company, has been known since April 2019. In July 2020, they became parents to a daughter.

Lena Gercke has one sister and two half-sisters . Her half-sister Yana Gercke, who has an Iranian mother, was third in the casting show Our Star for Baku in 2012 and took part in the casting show Das Supertalent in 2014 as a surprise for her sister .
