Luisa Hartema (born December 26, 1994 in Leer ) is a German model . In 2012 she won the seventh season of the talent show Germany’s Next Top Model .

biography

Hartema comes from East Frisia , where she grew up. In 2012, she took part in the seventh season of Germany's Next Top Model , for which more than 15,700 candidates had applied. The weekly television show broadcast by the private broadcaster ProSieben took the participants to Thailand , Los Angeles and Cancun, among others . The rather shy Hartema secured most of the jobs during this time, including an advertising campaign for Gillette , an eight-page photo series in the German-language lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan and ran at fashion shows as part of Berlin Fashion Week , New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.

In the final, which took place live on June 7, 2012 in Cologne's Lanxess Arena in front of around 15,000 spectators, the jury around presenter Heidi Klum , creative director Thomas Hayo and fashion designer Thomas Rath chose Hartema as the winner of the casting show. Like the previous winners, Hartema was featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine . In addition, she received a temporary apartment stay in a fashion metropolis of her choice as well as further campaigns with Emmi AG Caffè Latte, the cosmetics manufacturer Maybelline Jade and the online mail order company Zalando . ONEeins Management, a subsidiary of Heidi Klum GmbH, managed by Klum's father Günther, took care of their marketing.

In 2012 she starred in the music video for the band Hurricane Dean's single Appeal . During the video shoot, she met the German male model Keno Weidner , with whom she was dating until 2018. In 2013 she appeared in fashion magazines Elle and Harper's Bazaar, among others. In 2014 she modeled for the British online mail order company ASOS.com as well as for the luxury fashion company Escada . In 2014 her contract with ONEein's management expired. She has since been under contract with Munich Models and IMG Models . She lives in New York City and Munich.
