Ivanka Brekalo

Ivanka Brekalo (born March 14, 1981 in Essen ) is a Croatian actress .

Life

Brekalo, who speaks German and Croatian as mother tongues, completed her acting training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz . Afterwards she had theater engagements at the Vienna Volkstheater and at the Graz Schauspielhaus .

Brekalo became known on television in short films and in the Sat.1 Talent Class in 2005 . Brekalo then played in the ARD - telenovela Sturm der Liebe from March 2008 to August 2009, the main role of the maid Emma Strobl . As married Emma Saalfeld , she returned to the series in March 2010 and May 2013.

In October 2014, Brekalo became the mother of a daughter.

Brekalo has been an ambassador for the Christoffel Mission for the Blind since 2010 . She lives in Vienna .
