Vanessa Radman (* 1974 in Križevci , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian actress .

Life

As a teenager she moved to Wuppertal with her family . She finished high school at the high school on Siegesstrasse . In Wuppertal she played theater in the ensemble neue wuTH . From 1998 to 2002 she studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen . As a scholarship holder of the Sat. 1 Actors Class in Cologne , she completed a Hollywood acting workshop with MK Lewis in 2002 and a workshop with Cédric Klapisch at the Cologne International Film School in 2005 .

As an advertising model, she was mainly active in Croatia.

From 2003 to 2005 she had an engagement at the Lübeck Theater . She was also on the stage at the Theater der Welt 2002 in Duisburg and Buenos Aires , at the Theater an der Ruhr in Mülheim an der Ruhr (2003) and the Schauspiel Köln (2011).

Her acting career in film began in Germany with supporting roles, for example in the series Der Fahnder (2001, director: Michael Zens), Nikola (2001, director: Ulli Baumann ), SK Kölsch (2002, director: Markus Fischer ), Ein Fall für two (2001, directed by Peter Adam and 2005, directed by Martin Gies ), SOKO Leipzig (2005, directed by Oren Schmuckler and 2015, directed by Robert Del Maestro) and SOKO Cologne (2006, directed by Patrick Winczewski ).

In the Croatian telenovela Obični ljudi (Normal People), she starred in 157 episodes from 2006 to 2007. There she played Vanja Kincl, the oldest of three sisters. In the telenovela Ponos Ratkajevih (The Pride of the Nobility) she played Elisabeth Cohen in 153 episodes from 2007 to 2008. In 2008 she played lawyer Maja Lena Nardelli in 59 episodes of the telenovela Zakon ljubavi (The Law of Love). In 2013 she played 79 episodes of Maris Knego in the telenovela Zora dubrovačka about the siege of Dubrovnik , which was broadcast in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina , Montenegro and Slovenia . After an injury, Vanessa Radman had to be replaced by actress Ines Bojanić .

She was one of the first Croatian actresses to appear in front of the camera in Serbia after the Yugoslav wars.

In the fourth season of the Croatian Let's Dance ( Ples sa zvijezdama ), which was won by the singer Franka Batelić , Vanessa Radman made it into the third round in 2009 together with the dancer Robert Schubert.
