Patrick Winczewski

Patrick Winczewski (born September 27, 1960 in West Berlin ) is a German film actor , voice actor and film director .

Life

Winczewski was selected in 1999 by director Stanley Kubrick for his film Eyes Wide Shut as the German dubbing voice of Tom Cruise , which he has dubbed regularly ever since. Other actors Winczewski voices include Hugh Grant , Tim Roth and Eric Thal .

Winczewski also appeared as an actor in television series such as Der Alte , SOKO Leipzig , Hotel Paradies , Elbflorenz , Between Day and Night or Der Landarzt . His most recent appearance was in the soap Rote Rosen as the criminal Simon Down (2011).

He also led u. a. in various episodes of the series Lindenstrasse , Ein Fall für Nadja , SOKO Leipzig , SOKO 5113 , Pensionnercops and Tatort directing.

He is married to the actress Kristin Meyer .
