Richard Grieco (born March 23, 1965 in Watertown , NY , USA ) is an American actor and singer.

Richard Grieco was born in Watertown to Carolyn (née O'Reilly) and Richard Grieco. The parents are of Irish and Italian descent. Grieco played American football for Central Connecticut University . After his time as a model , he studied acting.

In his first role he played Rick Gardner in the soap opera One Life to Live from 1985 to 1987. From 1988, Grieco played the police officer Detective Dennis Booker in the television series 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer and its spin-off Booker . He had Grieco's feature film debut in a leading role as gangster Bugsy Siegel in The True Bosses - A Devilish Empire (1991) alongside Christian Slater . He played himself in the film A Night at the Roxbury (1998). He also played in the 1995 television series Marker .

In 1994 he started a singing career with the Jon Dunmore Band, of which Eddie St. James was a member. The band released the CD Waiting for the Sky to Fall on a German label ( edel music ) , which was released across Europe in 1995. Despite the lack of great success, the album produced a few smaller hits, such as B. Voice With No Name and Lay Your Body Down . Grieco presented the songs Voice With No Name and Crying in the Streets at the Bravo Super Show 1994 in Berlin.

Grieco has a son from a previous relationship with Kimber Sissons .
