In Los Angeles living Rex's dream is to be as famous as a gunslinger that his life story is filmed. He disguises himself as a cowboy and provokes numerous police officers to duels by always asking the same question: are you fast enough? Then he shoots the law enforcement officers.

Rex is in the media as mad Rex - crazy Rex called -. One day he learns of the police officer John Shepard, who single-handedly prevailed against an armed gang, and wants to challenge him. Shepard is frustrated and drinks too much alcohol. Rex manipulates TV journalist Maggie Hewitt so that Shepard feels provoked by the reporting. There is a showdown between Rex and Shepard.

Reviews

Cinema magazine called the film " B-Action ". He is a " tough, but pointless action film with wild shooting attacks ".

The TV Spielfilm magazine wrote that the film was " still one of the better " " in the oeuvre of the trash filmmaker Wynorski ". It is " cheap and lame, but not underground ".
