Jim Wynorski (born August 14, 1950 in Glen Cove , Long Island , New York ) is an American director, screenwriter and film producer.

Life

Jim Wynorski is best known for directing numerous B-films. His works are mostly to be assigned to the action and erotic genre and are low-budget productions. From time to time he can also be seen as an actor in small roles. He very often uses pseudonyms for his work, such as Jay Andrews for action films or Harold Blueberry for erotic films. He is considered one of the most important representatives of the trash film .

He first appeared as a screenwriter from 1982, and in 1985 he made his directorial debut with Three Angels on Death Island . As a director, he has so far staged almost 100 film and television productions.
