Agent Red is a 2000 American action film directed by Damian Lee and Jim Wynorski , starring Dolph Lundgren .

The chemical warfare agent Agent Red was developed in the USA during the Cold War and was stolen by the Soviet Union, which Agent Red considered too great a threat. After the fall of the Iron Curtain , the Russians want to get rid of the substance because it is too dangerous for them. The warfare agent is to be brought back to the States on board an American nuclear submarine . But Russian terrorists hijack the submarine and bring Agent Red under their control. Their goal: to kill millions of innocent people and thus to demonstrate against the corruption and unscrupulousness of world politics. But Matt Hendricks, a specialist in the US Marines , is also on board the submarine with Doctor Linda Christian and takes on the merciless fight against the terrorist group. They manage to thwart the terrorists' plans and prevent the release of the substance.
