The good-natured vampire Ella has to watch as her stepfather dies as chairman of the council of elders of the planet Drakulon by the devious Vlad. Vlad flies with his entourage to planet earth to fulfill his thirst for power. The secretly operating special unit against vampirism can track down Vlad as rock musician Jaimie Blood . However, due to its hypnotic abilities, this can force a collision and break out.

With a system of satellites, Vlad and his followers are now trying to block the sunlight for the entire earth in order to usher in the age of the vampires. Vampirella can break into the main building and deactivate the controls with an aimed shot. Vlad can escape in the form of a bat. At a dam, Vlad and Vampirella face each other again. During a fight, Vlad is struck by lightning and then falls down the dam on fire.
