Eddie St. James

Eddie St. James (born 1962 in Hollywood , California ) is an American guitarist , singer and composer .

Career

Born in Hollywood, he grew up in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. He started learning to play the guitar at the age of eight . In the mid-1980s, St. James joined the local glam metal band Northstar and was able to attract attention with this band. In 1989 St. James left Northstar to begin a solo career. In the same year he released the CD Out of Nowhere on Capitol Records . At the same time he worked as a studio musician. In 1991 he re-cast his band Eddie St. James Project . A short time later, however, the band broke up again. St. James took part in various recordings in the following years. Among other things, he can be heard as guitarist and background singer on the CD Waiting for the Sky to Fall by actor Richard Grieco .

St. James has lived in the greater Mannheim area since 1996. He continues to appear both as guitarist and lead singer in the Eddie St. James Band , which appeared on the main stage as part of the 2006 World Cup in Kaiserslautern and with which he has released two CDs so far. He is also touring with an acoustic solo program, the one-man rock show Eddie St. James Acoustic Underground . He has been on tour with the band Trance since 2016 .
