Booker was an American television series that was produced as a spin-off from 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer in 1989 . The idea for the series comes from Stephen J. Cannell and Eric Blakeney
action
The young police officer Dennis Booker, who previously worked for the 21 Jump Street police unit , is applying to the international Japanese Teshima Corporation. He got the job as security officer less because of his skills, but because of the fact that he caught his new boss Chick Sterling in a precarious situation with his secretary. While Booker isn't the kind of employee Sterling and supervisor Alicia Rudd hoped for, he does his job - albeit using unorthodox methods - quite successfully. Nevertheless, he is always close to the termination. His secretary Elaine Grazzo tries to help him wherever she can. When Elaine gets married, she is replaced by Suzanne Dunne, a former delinquent.
Emergence
In the United States, the series was broadcast parallel to Season 4 of 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer . Booker's 8th episode , Deals and Wheels Part 1 , and episode 65 of 21 Jump Street , Wheels and Deals , represent a crossover between the two series. In the US reruns of 21 Jump Street is shown the 8th episode of Booker between episode 64 and 65.
