Kristin Meyer (born June 27, 1974 in Dortmund ) is a German actress .

Life

Meyer completed her training as an actress and singer at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . From 2001 to 2005 she was engaged at various theaters in Germany. There she mainly played classical roles such as B. Shakespeare's Elizabeth in Richard the Third .

From 2007 to 2010 she starred in the lead role of Iris Cöster on Gute Zeiten . In the television series A Case for Nadja , she played the lead role Romy .

She is married to the director , actor and voice actor Patrick Winczewski . After working in Saxony and Bavaria , she lives in Berlin .

Since 2010 she has been supporting the St. Moses Children's Care Center orphanage in Uganda .

During the 2017 federal election campaign , Meyer supported the SPD and its candidate for chancellor Martin Schulz . Among other things, Meyer is active as an ambassador for the Björn Steiger Foundation and is a project sponsor for baby ambulances .
