Joshua "Josh" Cole Hamilton (born June 9, 1969 in New York City ) is an American actor .

Life and accomplishments

Josh Hamilton is a son of director and actor Dan Hamilton and actress and screenwriter Stephanie Braxton . He studied theater arts at Brown University . He later co-founded the Malaparte Theater Company .

His first film role played Hamilton on the side of Alyssa Milano and Danny Aiello in the drama Girls Wanna Have Fun from 1984. For the role in the television drama Abby, My Love (1991), he won an Emmy Award in 1992 . In the film drama Survive! (1993) he played one of the bigger roles alongside Ethan Hawke . In the comedy film Who's Afraid of Jackie-O.? (1997) played the role of Marty Pascal, who has an incestuous relationship with his twin sister Jackie ( Parker Posey ) . In the action thriller The Bourne Identity (2002) he was seen alongside Matt Damon and Franka Potente . In the culture shock comedy set in India Outsourced - On Detours to Happiness (2006) Hamilton played his first leading role.
