Alex Hyde-White

Alexander Punch Hyde-White (born January 30, 1959 in London , England ) is a British actor .

Life

Alexander Punch Hyde-White was born in London to the theater actress Ethel M., nee Korenmann, and the actor Wilfrid Hyde-White . He grew up in Palm Springs , California and, after attending Palm Springs High School, studied at Georgetown University . However, he left this after a year to concentrate on his acting career.

He got his first acting contract from Universal Pictures when he was 18 . He then played in several series characters that only appeared in one episode. So was his first use in the hit series Quincy . His father was also under contract there. However, they only appeared in front of the camera in 1980 on the " Merv Griffin Show" .

Hyde-White's first marriage was to actress Karen Dotrice , daughter of Roy Dotrice . He was married to her from 1986 to 1992 and has one child. Since 1997 he has been married to Shelly Bovert Hyde-White, with whom he also has a child.
