Ralph Ineson (born December 5, 1969 in Leeds , England ) is a British actor , best known for his role as Amycus Carrow in the Harry Potter films .

Career

Ineson began his career with guest appearances on television programs. He got his first role in a bigger movie in The 1st Knight at Sean Connery's side . From 1998 to 2002 he played in several episodes of the series Playing the Field . He played a supporting role alongside Johnny Depp in From Hell in 2001 . Ineson starred in the series The Office and Coronation Street from 2001 to 2005 in some episodes. In 2007 he was seen 11 episodes in the series Suburban Shootout . His most famous role was in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Part 2 . There Ineson played the Death Eater Amycus Carrow . In 2010 he got a supporting role in the remake of Robin Hood . Ineson also played in almost 40 series (e.g. in the soap opera Doctors ) between 1 and 8 episodes and was seen in many smaller television productions.

He also lent his voice to the character of Charles Vane in the video game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag .
