Angel Eyes is an American drama film directed by Luis Mandoki and starring Jennifer Lopez and James Caviezel in 2001 .

action

The Chicago cop Sharon Pogue rescues a badly injured as the only survivors of a major car accident. A year later, she pursues two fugitive perpetrators after a murder attempt and finds herself in a life-threatening situation. A stranger to her, who can only be called "Catch", saves her. She gets to know the man, Steven Lambert, better, and over time an erotic-friendly relationship develops. She finds out something about Steven's past, which he tries to suppress more or less successfully, and ultimately helps him to come to terms with everything. Steven's family was killed in the car accident a year ago, his mother-in-law ended up in a wheelchair, and Steven blames himself for everything.
