List of Vanuatu Islands
This is a list of islands that make up the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu .
With the exception of the Torres and Banks Islands in the north and the (politically controversial) Matthew and Hunter Islands to the south, the Vanuatu Islands all belong to the New Hebrides archipelago .
The list is sorted by Vanuatu provinces from north to south and, if applicable, also by archipelago . Vanuatu consists of 83 islands.
