Donald Patrick Harvey II (born May 31, 1960 in St. Clair Shores , Michigan ) is an American actor and voice actor .

Life

Don Harvey was born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the sixth of eight children. He began acting in high school. He studied English and economics at the University of Michigan and also attended the Yale School of Drama , from which he graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts degree.

Harvey has appeared as a film actor since the late 1980s and has appeared in over 70 film and television productions to date. He played supporting roles in well-known films such as The Damned of War (1989), Die Hard 2 (1990) and The Narrow Ridge (1998). Also noteworthy is his impersonation of baseball player Swede Risberg in John Sayle's Eight Men and a Scandal . On television, he appeared in series such as Miami Vice , New York Cops - NYPD Blue , Pretender , Medium - Nothing Remains Hidden and Numbers - The Logic of Crime .
