Kai Lentrodt

Kai Lentrodt (born April 23, 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Lentrodt was born the third child of a doctor and a physiotherapist. He has an older brother and an older sister and grew up with his family in Quickborn and Düsseldorf . He completed his training under the direction of Hildburg Frese at the Hamburg Theater Institute .

He played his first leading role in front of the television camera in the series A Threesome (1995). In several seasons of the comedy series Ladykracher he had a leading role at the side of Anke Engelke . In the TV series Berlin, Berlin he played the role of Harald Sommer in the first three seasons. In the television series Der Schwarzwaldhof he was Dr. Philip Kern, the new, young family doctor in the hotelier family. In a ZDF film on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the 1972 Olympic attack in Munich , he played the Münster psychologist Georg Sieber. At the side of Mariele Millowitsch he played the driving instructor Marius Bender in the tragic comedy Idiotentest (2012). In addition to Felix Klare , he was in the TV film I want (k) a child from you (2016) as his practice partner and young father Kai.

In the ZDF series A strong team , he played from 2005 the chief detective Benedikt Kolberg. In March 2017, he was in the episode driven hunt for the last time. His successor in the investigative team was Matthi Faust as Chief Commissioner Sebastian Klöckner. In the 7th season of the ZDF series Last Trace Berlin (2018), Lentrodt took on one of the main episode roles as the suspect sous-chef of a starred chef who has disappeared . He also had several roles in various " SOKO " formats on ZDF.

Lentrodt also made an appearance in the music video for Nobody Like You from Feine Sahne Fischfilet .

On the theater stage, Lentrodt has shared the role of real estate agent Oliver with Mathias Schlung in the karaoke comedy Machos auf Eis since the premiere in 2011 . Until 2019 he played the role in several performances at the Comödie Dresden . At the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm he was in the 2016/17 season with Tobias Licht in Tom Sommerlatte's theater premiere In the summer he lives downstairs after the film of the same name .

Kai Lentrodt lives in Berlin.
