Reviews

The media critic and Grimme Prize juror Tilmann P. Gangloff calls the characters in the Frankfurter Rundschau "pointed, but not overdrawn". Overall, he likes the fact that Ellerbeck gets by without the exaggerations that have often been common for German sitcoms. Despite the pointed characters and some slapstick moments , the story of the (anger) citizen and former kindergarten teacher who was thrown into office is intelligently staged. The narrative style of the observing film reportage, known from “ Stromberg ”, among other things , is perceived as raw through quick pans and the use of the zoom. This filming format shows its plus points in particular when the characters' privacy slips away from the "reportage team" camera for a few moments and so supposed "deep insights" arise. The TV critic and journalist Hans Hoff , however, is reflected by the acting performance of Cordula Stratmann disappointed and draws parallels to her starring role in the timely broadcast ARD - evening series " The Kuhflüsterin ".
